It's springtime at St. Vladimir's Academy, and Rose Hathaway is this close to graduation. Since making her first Strigoi kills, Rose hasn't been feeling quite right. She's having dark thoughts, behaving erratically, and worst of all...might be seeing ghosts.

As Rose questions her sanity, new complications arise. Lissa has begun experimenting with her magic once more, their enemy Victor Dashkov might be set free, and Rose's forbidden relationship with Dimitri is starting to heat up again. But when a deadly threat no one saw coming changes their entire world, Rose must put her own life on the line--and choose between the two people she loves most.

Shadow Kiss is a GREAT book. This was one i balled my eyes out in it. But Dimitri makes you fall even harder for him and Adrian keeps on moving right up there beside Dimitri. I love how Adrian cuts up in Shadow Kiss. I also really liked this book because you got to understand even more what shadow kiss meant for Rose and Lissa. If you read this book leave some comments i would love to see if anyone else balled there eyes out and wanted to throw the book across the room since at the time i read it i had to wait over 6 months to wait for the 4th book to come out. If you haven't read the series yet dont miss out go pick it up today. Enjoy!!

  1. This book started a more somewhat maturing Rose for me, instead of her being so immature, there were still times things she said sounded and some reactions were " teen" - but I got a sense of her becoming more of a woman, the feelings she had for Dimitri, Adrian....but Dimitri really opens her heart & mine ;-). I see people are taking her more seriously now....after Mason's death and when he keeps returning to her kinda creeps me out because I can totally picture this in my own head - his sad face his sad eyes and the way he can't speak to her just gives me a scary feeling until I find out what he is there for....and I have major issues of what happend to Dimitri - I never saw it coming !!!! I was so mad, and yes I wanted to throw the book across the room. I felt lost & upset , let down etc.... I am only on the beginning of Blood Promise and I hope well I am not sure what I hope - but I feel lost without Dimitri - The End

  2. I thought the same thing at first about Mason and with what happened to Dimitri i didn't see it coming either so when it happened i balled my eyes out. The bad part was i had to wait for BP to come out. The waiting was killing me. I will not give away what will happen for you but i will say just be ready for anything. What do you think about Adrian? He has grown on my heart too!! Dimitri will always be first in my heart but Adrian is very close too. Can't wait to see if you feel the same way once you finish the other 2 books.
