Silk and Spurs by Cheyenne McCray

Photographer Jessie Porter has two things on her agenda, photographing her good friend Danica Cameron's eldest brother Zane's wedding and photographing the Cameron's sprawling Arizona ranch. What wasn't on Danica's agenda was her strong attraction to the groom-to-be.

Zane Cameron is the epitome of a hot cowboy, tall, dark and sexy. When he meets the hot little redheaded photographer he gets the inkling there may be trouble as his mind wanders more to Jessie than his beautiful fiancee. Days before his impending nuptials to Phoebe, a spoiled and overbearing widow, Zane wonders if he's doing the right thing in marrying her. What a way to start off a life together?

When Jessie finds out that Phoebe is not all she appears, she has a dilemma on her hands.... Tell Zane what she has found out....Or keep her mouth shut and allow the charade to continue. Breaking up a "happy" couple was not what she set out to do, but neither Zane nor Jessie can deny that something is happening between them. The ease with which Zane gets along with Jessie is surprising to him and only makes him doubt his relationship with Phoebe more.

Silk and Spurs is not your typical love triangle gone awry. There is betrayal and mystery involved, making Cheyenne McCray's latest cowboy romance a must read. I loved the added conflict with Phoebe, it only made me want to find out more. The length that Phoebe will go to get what she wants is amazing.

The introduction of Zane's brothers leaves the door wide open for finding more about the Cameron cowboy clan. I certainly hope that happens because I truly enjoyed this story and need to know more about the Cameron men.
