Diane's YA Review of Crimson Frost by Jennifer Estep

Gwendolyn Frost "the Gypsy Girl" is on a coffee date with Logan Quinn " the Spartan" aka the boy she has had on her brain since she came to Mythos Academy. while on said date 3 cloaked figures enter and tell her she is being arrested for crimes against the Pantheon. She is then publicly ousted in front of her entire school as a Traitor or Reaper as they call it, which makes her enemy number one to the rest of her fellow students.
Having released the Trickster God Loki against her will, Gwen must now face the consequences, someone has informed the Mythos Authorities of everything she has done since she came to Mythos Academy. for Gwen the stakes have become very high when it becomes clear that those holding her trial are very ready to put her to death. Gwen, her talking sword “Vic” and the few friends she has left are in a race against time to prove her innocents and save the Academy from Loki and his Reapers of chaos.
Crimson Frost has A good amount of action, suspense and Danger. I found the book a little slow for me at first but once I got past page 50 it came into its own from there
