VALERIE COZART'S GUEST REVIEW OF ~ THE CIRCLE EIGHT ~ VAUGHN by EMMA LANG/ BETH WILLIAMSON

Elizabeth Graham is no wilting violet…she’s a Graham and anyone who knows the Grahams knows they are a tight knit family full of deep determination.  They love hard, work hard, and fight hard for what they believe is right.  To harm one Graham is to harm them all and this family of eight will go to hell and back, willing to sacrifice all, if just one of their dear family members are in trouble.

Elizabeth is twenty-one and on her way to being a spinster.  Not that she is completely against the idea of having a man there just aren’t many men to choose from where she lives.  At least that is until fate drops Vaughn Montgomery in her lap or rather naked on her doorstep.  The only problem is Vaughn is a con man and Elizabeth can see right through him.  But Elizabeth can’t turn her back on a man in need, as much as she’d like to because she just knows this one is trouble, so she brings him into her families home and nurses him back to health.  Before long she’s in deep like with Vaughn and he is starting to fall in love with her.  But Vaughn has a lot of trouble following him and that trouble is just about to come calling and threaten everything Elizabeth loves.

Emma Lang’s Circle of Eight series just keeps getting better and better.  Each book allows the reader to visit with the Graham family and spend a little time in the past imagining what it would be like to live in the wild west with a pioneer spirit and a willingness to do what it takes to allow your family to not only survive but thrive.  I absolutely love this family and can’t wait for the next book.   Not only is Vaughn well written and entertaining, like many of this series I always learn something new about the past.  Emma Lang does her research and her love of westerns shows through in all of her books.  I have to give this book a solid 5 stars.  I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
