RECAP OF THE BOOK OBSESSED CHICKS BEACH BBQ BASH 2014 & GIVEAWAY




Good morning all!!!! Finally I wanted to thank everyone involved in the 4th Annual Book Obsessed Chicks Beach BBQ Bash. Who would have thought when BOC began that I could have gotten together 100 author/readers together in such an awesome setting? We had a picture perfect day with a lovely breeze off the ocean. 

You are all so special to me. So many came from far away and I truly appreciate it. When I began, all I wanted to do was open the world for my reader friends to meeting some local authors. Little did I know that it was going to explode into what it has become.  I am so proud of each and every one of my ladies who are the best friends a girl can have. THANK YOU....

I especially want to thank every author who took time out of their busy schedules in the midst of conference season to join us and make this event so very special.

 LARA ADRIAN, SARA HUMPHREYS, PATRICIA A. RASEY, CAT JOHNSON, MAUREEN DOWNEY, JEAN JOACHIM, ROZ LEE, RAYNA VAUSE, BIANCA D'ARC, STEPHANIE JULIAN, TRACEY LYONS, TARYN KINCAID, TARAH SCOTT, CARIDAD PINEIRO, SAMANTHA SCORDATO, K.M. FAWCETT, CATHY TULLY, JEANINE MCADAM, MONICA BURNS,HOLLY BUSH, DAMON SUEDE, KATE MCMURRAY and TERE MICHAELS. You are all rock-stars, thank you for going all out for me and the book club. I hope you enjoyed yourselves.

I want to thank BRYAN BENISVY and BILLY FREDA for coming as well and being so awesome to every attendee. Always a smile for everyone. 
I hope you both can return next year!

I didn't want to cut into every one's enjoyment of the day, but I really want to thank LARA ADRIAN because honestly, if it weren't for her, I would never have started this whole thing in the first place. Meeting her in person, back in 2010 really changed things for me. She gave the the confidence and the interest in doing what I do and I LOVE her for it. I am so happy with the life I have now and the career I have due to her and her awesome husband John. It is because of them both that I wake up and look forward to my day and the next adventures that Kimmie has. I also thank them both for introducing me to Patricia Rasey, who I love like a sister. I tell people she's the first person I text in the morning and the last before I go to bed.  It's the truth. She is my rock and I am thankful to have her in my life.... and she has a pretty awesome hubby as well..

The day went amazingly well and I hope everyone got their fill of food, thanks to our special man at the BBQ,  BOC CHICA, Janet Rodman's husband, DAVID KIRCHEIN, who spent the entire day in front the grill and has already agreed to be my awesome grill man again next year. 

The next Book Obsessed Chicks Beach BBQ Bash will be in July of 2015. If you are interested in attending this event, please let me know.

    The barbecue always looks like so much fun, hopefully I can coincide my trip to New York in 2016 to be at the same time!

    Thank you Kim for a great day with wonderful authors and friends. I appreciate all the work you put into making the Bar-B- Que, and it was great as always. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
